    MANUFACTURING

    Machine Operator
    JOB DESCRIPTION: Operate the assigned machine(s) in a safe way to produce parts efficiently and within acceptable quality standards.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Operate the designated machine(s).
    • Obey established safety procedures and use the protective personal equipment required by OSHA.
    • Follow quality standards as set by procedures.
    • Perform all established quality inspections in order to produce parts within acceptable tolerances.
    • Handle, store, label and pack parts (if required) as indicated by procedures.
    • Perform all operator maintenance start-up/shut down procedures and perform preventive maintenance.
    • Training and Cross training will be done.
    EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to use measurement devises such as compass, gauge, template, micrometer, tape measure, etc.
    • Must have basic math skills and be able to pass a tape measure test.
    • Experience preferred but will train.
    EXPERIENCE: Blue print reading experience preferred. Knowledge of machinery and production preferred.

    Skilled Loader – Forklift Operator
    JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for organizing and executing building loadouts.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Unload conveyors and stack in the designated place in the yard.
    • Stage all building parts for loadout.
    • Load all full truckload trailers per ICC standards.
    • Forklift operation.
    • Verify that all items on shipping papers are loaded onto trailer.
    • Complete required production and quality paperwork.
    • Training and Cross training.
    EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Knowledge of loading large (up to 40′ and 3000#) pieces with a forklift
    • Must have basic math skills and be able to pass a tape measure test.
    • Must have forklift training.
    • Experience preferred but will train.
    EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years.

    Welder
    JOB DESCRIPTION: Weld together pre-assemble metal parts as specified by diagrams, work orders and/or oral instructions. Must be able to determine the size and placement of welds along the structural members, according to DSB and AWS Standards.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Weld together preassembled metal parts as specified by fabrication drawings.
    • Determine size and placement of welds along structural members per AWS Standards.
    • Training and Cross training will be done.
    EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must pass qualifying welding test and weld to DSB Standards.
    • Complete crane training.
    EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year Mig welding experience preferred.

    Driver CDL – Class A
    JOB DESCRIPTION: Deliver metal building parts to job sites.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Drive tractor trailer, haul steel building components both in and out of state.
    • Maintain vehicle.
    • Perform miscellaneous yard and facility duties during off time.
    EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must have a clean MVR
    • Must have a valid DOT medical card.
    • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen.
    EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year current driving.

    SALES/OFFICE Position – will train

    Job Responsibilities
    • Learn our quality process and in-house quoting programs
    • Maintain and grow customer base
    • Provide quotes by reviewing plans and specifications
    • Provide staff with information to assist in bidding jobs
    • Cover assigned sales areas regularly
    • Weekly office visits to Cedartown, GA headquarters.
    • Provide regularly scheduled reporting on trips and projects
    Job requirements
    • Territory will include some of the following areas: Kentucky, Northern AL, East TN, Western NC, Western SC, and Northern GA.
    • High School diploma
    • Two years+ in office or product sales environment
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Strong math skills
    • Pleasant personality and professional presentation
    • “Hunter”; goal driven and self-motivated
    • Good written and oral communication in English
    • Daytime and overnight travel
    • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks in an efficient manner
    • Basic computer knowledge
