Dean's Bolt Up procedure
To ensure that our buildings will erect properly in the field, Dean bolts up the frame at our manufacturing site for the following reasons:
1. The holes line up as they should.
2. The eave height of the buildings is according to the specs given by the
Customer.
3. The width of the frame, and many other measurements are taken to make
sure that they match the ones called out by the drawings.
4. We use a string to make sure that all the columns and connections
line up.
5. Any Non standard complex fascias and roof extensions are also bolted up
and measured.
